Still miles away from the Elven community, Omorfia stood up from the fire she was sitting in front of.
"Dakar... I sense something dangerous coming. Take Devon and Avina up the rest of the mountain... and don't look back." She said it firmly watching a place under the shade of some of the larger oaks around them.
"Why? What is wrong, Omo..."
"Just go, Dammit!" She yelled before a sudden flash of pale skinned creature launched itself at Dakar.
Devon, being shocked and picked up Avina and ran as quickly as he could. Dakar, still too shocked to move, watched as Omorfia fought with a familiar face. Perniciosum had caught the smell of Dakar and took after the trail. She was very pleased with what she found.
"DAKAR! Run!" Omorfia was holding her ground but she was being torn at by the demon plaguing her. Dakar did as he was told but when he looked back... he realized he should have stayed.
Perniciosum was standing over Omorfia's seemingly still body, blood dripping off of her. Omorfia with her last few conscious breaths said, "go... run..." Then her eyes rolled back into her head, and Perniciosum laughed.
"Now, now, Dakar. Making a lady fight for you? How unlike yourself." Perniciosum flashed her usual cocky smile at him. "I missed you, darling~" She sneered.

"I didn't miss you, bitch," Dakar growled and then ran off after the others.
Perniciosum sneered at her past lover and then followed after him. She took her time. Perniciosum knew where he was headed. Off to see dear old dad and the rest of the rotten elfen slim. There was no need to chase the man through the forest and risk getting attacked by him. Perniciosum headed into the woods, sniffing the air and looking for tracks in the moss covered ground. She caught the trail again and continued on.
Dakar looked over his shoulder, wondering how fast she was tailing them. He knew she was coming, but he didn't know how fast. Perniciosum never did things at a fast pace. She took her time and got things done right. He wiped his eyes as he ran behind the others. He knew he shouldn't have run but stayed behind to help Omorfia and now she was dead. Dakar blamed himself over and over.
"Where is Omorfia?" Devon asked over his shoulder.
"Later," Dakar said, "keep running and I will tell you later. For now, we just need to get as far away as possible. Don't stop until it gets dark."

At the elevens home, Amasiuncula was called out by the Elder and told to go down the mountain a ways to find an injured lady.
"Find an injured lady... well that doesn't seem too difficult." She said as she was running down.
though as she wasn't paying attention she ran smack into a man with dark hair and pointed ears. The man looked down at her and she could see he had been watering at the eyes.
"Ah! Excuse me... Have you seen a injured lady on your way up? The... my daddy told me to find her. Said she was hurt bad and unconscious..." She lied about the father part. Mostly because her father was always gone looking for her long lost half sibling, and her mother was dead.
"Omorfia's alive?" The man looked surprised then chuckled. "Jeez... She's resilient as Hell. Come on I'll help you find her."
Amasiuncula thanked him but remembered the warning of a demon. Looking at the young man again she decided to trust him. Then she remembered her manners.
"oops... I didn't introduce myself. My name is Amasiuncula. And yours is?" She started to walk again expecting him to follow.
"Oh, right. My name is Dakar." The man looked back at his friends. "You guys keep going til you find a village or something..." Then he continued walking ignoring his friends hollering after him.
Amasiuncula continued walking through her shock. It was him. The lost brother her daddy has been looking for all these years.

"Great, he just left us here," Devon said, "Omorfia is missing and Dakar just leaves us to keep looking for pointy eared creatures."
"It will be okay," Avina said, taking Devon's hand, "I can tell Dakar really cares for Omorfia and if she is hurt then the little girl can heal her."
"I suppose you are right," Devon said, "I still don't like the idea of leaving him alone with her and that wild demon lady who attacked."
"Did Dakar know her?" Avina asked, as they continued towards the elven village.
Devon nodded, "Yeah, a long time ago they use to be engaged."
"Did they like each other?" Avina asked.
"She was head over heels in love with him and Dakar liked her for a while but then he met this new girl and she is the one we are trying to save," Devon explained.
"So you and Dakar have been through a lot then," Avina smiled.
"Yup, that we have," Devon said and then stopped, "great, a tall wall of rock. How are we going to get over this mountain?"
"I think I can help you with that," a man said, stepping from the shadows.
He was tall and handsome with long blonde hair and bright blue eyes. He had a scar running down the left side of his face and the tip of his right ear was missing.
"You can call me Oak," he said, "I was sent here by the high king to guide you the rest of way. Please follow me."
Devon and Avina looked at each other. Avina shrugged and followed the man. Devon looked around him and decided he had but no choice to follow them both. He only prayed that Dakar, Omorifa and the little elf girl made it back in one piece.

"So you're the Prince the evil... I mean demon Queen is trying to find?" Amasiuncula asked. Mostly to make sure this is who she believes him to be. Dakar smiled down at her.
"Ah. So even the elves know of my mothers intentions of killing me." Amasiuncula squealed in delight and hugged him.
"It is you~! I'm so glad, Magnis Fratri~! Father has been searching for you for years... or stalking you I don't know which~!" The small girl hugged his arm then thought about what she was doing and let go.  "Uh... sorry... i was just excited. Wait til Father finds out you're coming~!"
"Father? you mean to tell me i have a little sister?" Dakar smiled then frowned as they came upon Ormorfia's sleeping body up against a tree.
"She's moved since i left her..." Dakar went over and leaned down towards the sleeping Centaur. Ormorfia was in her human/ demon form that took less strength to move so Dakar carefully picked her up and looked at Amasuincula.
"Follow me home, Magnis Fratri."

Dakar followed Amasuincula back to the elven village with the sleeping Omorfia in his arms. Dakar glanced over at the little elf beside him, wondering if she was really his little sister and if his father, who is barely remembered, really had been searching for him all these years. He never asked, but he was beginning to wonder why his father left in the first place. His mother said it was because he didn't care but Dakar didn't really believe her. Deep down he knew there was another reason. Now he would be able to ask his father about it.
"Just wait until we get there!" Amasuincula said, "Its so pretty and everyone is really nice. Father will be so happy to see you finally. He talked about you a lot, even though he didn't know you for very long."
"I see," Dakar said, "and what of your mother?"
Amasuincula frowned "She died."
"I'm sorry," Dakar said.
"Its okay but she left behind our little brother! Hes super cute but love to get into everything! I always have my hands full with him."
"A little brother?" Dakar asked.
"Yeah!" Amasuinclua grinned, "I bet you will be a great big brother! You can keep him out of trouble and show him how to use a sword and a bow and arrow and all sorts of other things!"
Dakar smiled, the thought of having a family that wanted to see him and missed him made him happy. He was looking forward to meeting his family, especially his father. But first he had to make sure his friends and Omorfia were all right. He would put off meeting his family a bit longer in order to make sure they were all right.

As the two siblings walked into the gates of the elven home, Dakar was immediately attacked by Avina.
"Dakar! Are you okay?" She asked with a genuine caring voice, Something Dakar was still unused to.
"I'm fine, Avina..." Though she had stopped paying attention to him and looked at Ormorfia horrified.
Ormorfia's body really was a slightly frightening sight. Her arms were cut open in many spots so deeply it seemed you could see her pure white bones. Her face was cut up and bruised so she looked as if she would never heal and look the same. Omorfia's clothes were now pretty much non-existent.
"Omorfia? Hurry! Take her to a healer!" Avina hollered, tears welling up in her eyes.
Devon went over and lead Dakar to the healer's den, where him and Avina had to go first to get a few cuts cleaned and bandaged. Leaving the half-demon and the young elf all alone.

"Is she going to be okay?" Avina asked, clutching to the young elf's arm.
"Yes, don't worry, your friend will be okay,"  Amasuincula said, smiling at the girl, "we have the best healers. Any better and they could be bring people back from the dead."
"Okay, good. She can't die! Omorfia was like a mother to me. She cared about me when my parents didn't and she noticed me when no one else would," Avina's eyes began to well up with tears again, "she is the closest thing I have to a mother! She can't die on me, not yet! what if I still need her!"
Amasuincula hugged the girl, "Trust me, she will be all right in the end. Just you wait and see."
"Who is your friend, Amasuincula?" Dunren asked, coming into the room.
"Hello father," Amasuincula replied, "this is Avina. She is friends with Dakar."
"Dakar...is he here?" Dunren asked, looking hopeful.
"Yes, he is in the healing room with two of his friends," Amasuincula said, pointing towards the room.
Dunren took a deep breath and went into the room.
Woohoo~! more dakar~!
